About me

Dr. Veerababu Polisetti is a materials scientist at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with diverse expertise in advanced polymer technologies. His research background includes developing high-performance membranes using techniques like phase inversion and interfacial polymerization, with experience enhanced through an INDO-US WARI Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

As a Knut and Alice Wallenberg Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wallenberg Wood Science Center, Dr. Polisetti has pioneered plant-inspired biopolyester networks for sustainable packaging materials. Currently working with FibRe, a Vinnova competence center, he develops lignocellulosic plastics that bridge academic innovation with industrial application, promoting eco-friendly alternatives to petroleum-based polymers.

With his unique combination of membrane science expertise and sustainable materials development, Dr. Polisetti is passionate about collaborating as part of a team to solve environmental challenges through rigorous science and innovation
