About me
Dr. Xi (Vincent) Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Production Engineering (IPU) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, where he also serves as the Head of the Production Systems and Automation (PSA) unit. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2013, following a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tianjin University, China, in 2008. In 2021, he was awarded the title of Docent (doctoral supervisor) by KTH.
His research focuses on cloud manufacturing, robotics, digital twins, computer aided design, and manufacturing systems. In addition to his research and academic leadership, Dr. Wang serves as Managing Editor of the International Journal of Manufacturing Research (IJMR). He is also an Associate Editor of the SME Journal of Manufacturing Systems (JMS), Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal (FSMJ), Array, Advanced Equipment, Human Machine Interaction (HMI), and Engineering and Technology Management.
