About me
Xin Lu received the PhD degree in electrical engineering from The University of Sydney, Australia, in 2024. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Division of Electric Power and Energy Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.
His research interests include renewable energy integration, virtual power plants, battery energy storage systems, and electricity market modelling. His recent work also focuses on energy communities, virtual energy sharing, and intelligent energy analytics.
He has published in leading journals such as Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering and IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. He received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Students Abroad in 2024 and became a Senior Member of IEEE in 2025.
