Xinyan Yu

I am a Digital Futures Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working with Andrii Matviienko and Airi Lampinen. My research broadly examines autonomous mobility systems and their social integration into urban space, following a design-led approach. I completed my PhD at the Design Lab, The University of Sydney, where I worked within the TOMORO Project on several Australian Research Council Discovery Projects (ARC DP) concerning pedestrian interaction with urban robots and autonomous vehicles in shared spaces.
