Yonathan Tekeste

I hold a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, completed in June 2025. My academic focus was on environmental geology and hydrogeology, with specialized competence in geotechnical engineering, contaminated land management, and life cycle assessment (LCA). I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science from Stockholm University (October 2022).

Between my studies, I completed an industry internship that provided hands-on experience in LCAand geotechnical projects. Through academic projects and fieldwork, I developed skills in geotechnical investigations, slope stability analysis, and environmental monitoring, always with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

My technical toolkit includes GIS software, AutoCAD, SLOPE, and programming like Python and R Studio. I am deeply committed to advancing sustainable infrastructure and applying science and engineering to real-world environmental challenges.
