Yuyang Tao

I am a recent graduate of the Master's Programme in Information and Network Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, holding a Degree of Master of Science with a major in Electrical Engineering.

My academic focus lies at the intersection of machine learning, causal reasoning, and their application to complex real-world data. My degree project, "Causal Reasoning for Predictive Health Modeling on EHR data," investigated the integration of causal inference methods with machine learning to build more accurate and interpretable models for predicting 30-day hospital readmissions using the MIMIC-IV dataset.

My core competencies include advanced signal processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning, developed through coursework in KTH. I am passionate about leveraging these technical skills to develop robust and transparent AI solutions for critical domains like healthcare analytics.
