I received my BSc and MSc degrees in Biomedical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017 and 2020, respectively, and completed my PhD in Engineering Mechanics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2025. My doctoral research focused on the in vivo measurement of skeletal muscle morphology and mechanical properties using ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Currently, I am working on the PelvicMIM project, which aims to evaluate childbirth-related pelvic floor muscle injuries through a multi-modal imaging approach. My work focuses on the development and application of advanced imaging techniques, including diffusion MRI, quantitative MRI, and elastography, to improve our understanding of pelvic floor muscle injuries and contribute to the development of more effective rehabilitation strategies.
