Ingvar Sheng

I'm a senior PhD student working on precipitation modelling and charaterization for Computational Material Design (CMD). My research interests are mainly in maraging steels, precipitation-hardened steels, using charaterization methods combining with precipiation model to optimize the thermal process and composition to improve overalll strength or achieve desired property for the reproduction of certain steels. Some of the alloys I have been working on: Precipitation-Hardened stainless steel, OVAKO Hybrid 60 steel.  The computational model I am famaliar with including TC-Python, TC-PRISMA, MatCalc and our own model (in progress) that improves the concentration profile inside precipitates.
