The course will be extended from 4.5 credit points to 6.0 credit points starting from spring 2012. The code of the extended course is ED2246. See course ED2246 for more information.
The student will learn about practical experimental research work by carrying out a small research project. The projects are performed in a research laboratory environment, the EXTRAP T2R fusion research experiment at the Alfven Laboratory. The student will engage in a project that also leads to a more in-depth understanding of some commen fusion plasma diagnostic methods.
