Course literature and software The course follows the book F. Gustafsson och N. Bergman, Matlab for Engineers Explained, Springer Verlag, 2003 (ISBN 1-85233-697-8)

The course book contains exercises and selected solutions. As a complement we provide a separate exercise booklet (for download).

The lecture notes will be made available on the webpage before each lecture.

Matlab is available in most of the computers at KTH. On Linux machines you need to type module add matlab in the command window before you can start Matlab. A student version of Matlab is available from the KTH Program Distribution.

KTH Program Distribution

Disposition The course consists of one lecture and four computer exercises. The course is to a large content based on self-studies. Most of the work could be done on your own using your own computer.

The course ends with a 72 hour take-home exam, consisting of four small programming exercises.

FAQ

Course registration You must select the course via your student office (kansli). Otherwise we can not register you aon the course and you will not be able to download the exam.

Computers Use your KTH.SE account to log on to the computers in the XQ rooms.

Entry cards Kortexpeditionen, Osquldas väg 6, floor 4 (Q-buildings), open 10.00 - 11.30 and 12.30 - 13.30, can uppgrade your entry cards if you need access to the XQ-computer rooms.
