Examination

The course is graded based on continuous examination, including home assignments, small tests and project work.

The requirements for passing the course are the following:

- Reading papers covered on the lecture and as home reading- Home assignments - questions related to the lecture and the papers, small analytic models, submitted 3 times during the course (lectures 5,9,12)- Six small tests during the course (lectures 4,6,8,103,5,7,9,12), covering the material of the lectures and the papers- Written study covering 3-4 papers. Students work in in small groups, and can select the subject of the study free. The groups are defined by the instructor.- Oral presentation of 20 minutes during the project presentation session.

There is an opportunity for make-up tests on Tuesday, Oct. 9 (scheduled lecture time).

Grading: A-F

50% tests, 30% home assignments, 20% project (example: 100% correct tests give 50 points, 100% submitted correct home assignments give 30 points, excellent project gives 20 points)Grading guidlines (approx):90%:-A, 80%-B, 70%-C, 60%-D, 50%-E, 45%-Fx
