Projects

During the course there will be two projects, where the student will solve small-scale application-oriented problems and will report his/her findings. The problems are related to the material taught during the course. To solve the problems you will need to use Matlab (recommended) or another mathematical software package. The main goals of the projects are to train problem-solving skills and to learn how to properly report one's results. Detailed instructions will be given during the course. Note that both projects are mandatory, i.e., it is necessary to complete them successfully in order to be able to pass the course.

Schedule for project assignments:

AssignmentReleaseDeadline 1GradedDeadline 2

The assignments are graded with Pass/Fail. A student that has not passed a project assignment should revise and resubmit the assignment no later than the date dictated by deadline 2. To help you in revising your report we will give you individual feedback.

Remember to include the titlepage to your report when you hand it in STEX.

Note that reports will be electronically checked for plagiarism so an electronic copy  will have to be sent to the TA who is responsible for each assignment.
