During the semester there will be time to visit some conferences and companies in the Stockholm area.
SICS Software Week
The first opportunity will be the SICS Sofware week. The most important thing is of course the "Coud Day" on Wednesday. We will arrange for the registration fee etc.

Visit to the PDC
We're invited to PDC the home of High Performance Computing at KTH. This is an excellent oportunity for you to learn more abou the super computers at KTH, how to get access to these machines and the possibilities for master thesis projects in the area. Prepare and stude the information on the web that describes their infrastructure.
- Time: Tuesday 16'th of October 15-16.
There is a bus leaving from Kista, on the road utside the Forum building, at 12:50. The bus goes directly to campus but you will of cours be there early. If you take the subway make sure to be in time.
We will meet in room 1537 on the 5th floor at Lindstedtsvägen 27. Walk up to the library and continue up the road. You will have Lindstedsvägen 27 when you turn right.
Much, Many and Open -The Future of Networked Systems
This is a conference organized by the Center for Networked Systems at SICS. It's a bit network centric but I think higly relevant for your profile. Do sign up, from what I can see you don't have anything else on the 24'th of October.
