Lab 3 Planning of Cellular Systems

In this lab you will investigate a cellular GSM network that provides coverage in an area around Stockholm. You will have to make modifications to the network in order to satisfy the specified coverage, blocking and signal quality requirements. To this end, the tasks you will perform include coverage prediction, traffic and interference analysis and frequency planning. The software tool you will use in this lab is TEMS CellPLanner provided by Ascom, nowaday known under the new brand name  "MENTUM".

• The lab is performed in groups of 2-3 persons
• Register your participation in one of the lab sessions in Daisy 
• Solve the problems in the lab manual and report your results to the attending lab leaders
