Welcome to the Embedded Systems Advanced Course (ES HK, MF2063) in 2014!

Our first meeting is scheduled on September 3rd. In the morning, 8:15 - 9:30, at Wenström lab (M building, 3rd floor), we shall give the introduction of the course, including the course learning objective, how to apply for projects, the important dates and milestones, how we give students grades, etc. After the lecture, coffee and snacks will be served. We shall also take photo for every one during the coffee time.

On the same day, September 3rd, in the afternoon, 13:15 - 15:00, at Wenström lab, company representatives will present their project ideas. This year we shall work on four challenging and interesting projects from companies and research institutes. You will send applications to these projects as if you were job seekers. The teaching team will allocate you to the projects according to your background, competence, and the companies preference.

More instructions will be given on September 3rd. Please come to the morning lecture.

The entire Embedded Systems programme has a mandatory lecture in Kista 13-15, so don't expect us to turn up - we simply cannot. Will PowerPoint slides from the project/company presentations be uploaded on the course page afterwards? And does the 13-15 session count as a lecture for the 80% rule?

Oh, please disregard my question about the 80% rule... I mixed up the project course (this course) with the project management course which has that rule.
