Welcome to a PhD course on CONTINUUM MECHANICS
The course giveS a thorough treatment of continuum mechanics for solid materials. Particular emphasis will be given to materials and structures that experince large deformations. Application areas are for example rubber like materials, soft tissue biomaterials and large plastic deformations in metallic materials. More details about the course and its content can be found in the course PM.
Note that all lectures and tutorials will be held in the Seminar room at the Department of Solid Mechanics.
