Cutting biofuels from food crops will increase food security, right?

Dr. Richard Tipper has written a new short blog about the food vs fuel debate over the implications of crop usage that you may be interested to read. While some environmental and development NGOs have welcomed a recent European Commission proposal to limit the amount of biofuel that can come from food crops, Richard argues that this may have a series of detrimental knock-on effects that will actually reduce food security.
