I was wondering whether it is possible to add repeated events in the calender? E.g. if I want to ensure that no one else takes an internal seminar room in our internal webpage on Social for the next 2 years, is it normal to

- play the monkey and add 104 times the same event,

- or is there a way to create an event that repeats itself?

I know that it is not possible as it stands now, but I was wondering whether there are adhoc solutions to this problem.

The calendar for a group or course (in social) does not actually allocate a room, so you might want to either contact the scheduling staff at schema@kth.se or book the room in the Exchange (email) system, depending on if the room is available for course scheduling or not.

A good future solution would probably be to integrate the group calendar in social with the exchange calendar, as it already is integrated with the schedule system (TimeEdit). But I'm not aware of any plans to do that, so I guess it would involve some politics to get it decided.

Thanks for your time Rasmus! I might have been unclear. This is an internal seminar room which we have at our department, hence it is not in the hand of schema@. We just wanted to use Social to have calender so that staff can book it and see its booking. This works fine, it is just annoying to enter the booking for repeating events.
