A symposium for KTH researchers who share an interest in how creative and academic practices in art and design relate to overall scientific practices at KTH. Its purpose:

• To map the contribution from art and design to overall scientific practices at KTH

• To celebrate a new partnership in art and design between KTH and Konstfack

• To discuss the possible contribution of the arts to innovation and scientific practice, using interdisciplinary examples from Aalto University, EIT European Institute of Technology, the Society for Artistic Research and the Journal for Artistic Research (www.jar-online.net), a new peer-reviewed journal being hosted by KTH
