The task of journalism is to describe and examine and, by doing this, make the world a little easier to understand to its population. How is this done – from first idea to finished article? What can a researcher learn from the way scientific journalists work? The aim of the course is to train participants' abilities to discern the most important message and to present it to different target groups as tastefully, accurately and interestingly as possible.
Participants will learn about popular scientific communications through extensive practical training - written, spoken, individual exercises, feedback from professionals and not least through their own reflections and in meetings with other colleagues in the same situation.
