Social Robotics 3hp

This course will provide an overview of the state-of-the-art algorithms, techniques and paradigms used to build robots that interact socially with people. The course will cover the following topics: (1) perception of the social environment, (2) verbal and non-verbal communication, (3) social reasoning and decision-making, (4) human-robot collaboration (5) robot learning from human teachers, and (6) evaluation methods for human-robot interaction.
