Swedish Space Research 4% in Horizon 2020

The project should lead to a new national strategic platform for Swedish space research. The project goal is that the Swedish part of European funding in Horizon 2020 should be at least 4 % during the time period 2014-2020.

The importance of EU-projects is not only received funding, but also the established networks with European researchers. This is especially true in Space research, where no large projects can be fulfilled with only national funding, and international collaboration is the key to success. The coordination of national space research to inform, stimulate and finally complete applications for funding from Horizon 2020, in the areas of astrophysics, plasma- and space-physics, atmospheric physics, Earth observation, physiology, and instrumentation.
