160216 Tuesday tutorials + exhibition presentation

Dear all, this Tuesday we will have 4th year tutorials in the morning, and thesis tutorials in the afternoon. After lunch, Jonas will present the exhibition Sening Energy which is on display upstairs in the KTH Entrance builiding (up the stairs from the cafe). This exhibition is one of the outcomes of a research-by-design project he has been part of, exploring alternate perceptions of energy through architecture and design.

This Tuesday will include general tutorials (sign up below), parallel structural tutorials in 13-17 (sign up below) and 20 min individual discussions on thesis booklets (yes, sign up below). For thesis booklets, you should have included a tentative schedule - and bring a printed version of your updated booklet (no need to send beforehand). Vilius - please also sign up for general tutorials. In general, please sign up for as early times as possible.

General tutorials will start at 10, no schedule.

For fifth years, we will meet at 15.00 - 17.00 for direct feedback on drafts submitted. We meet in studio and go to nearby seminar space.

Unfortunately the presentation from Nacka Planning department is cancelled. The person who was supposed to come were unable to, and it was impossible to find a substitute with such short time.

This Tuesday we will run parallel tutorials for design and structure - make sure to sign up for both. The design tutorials start in the morning, the structure tutorials run in parallel from 13.00. Make sure not to take the same time. There is some slack in the schedule, so we may run over sessions if necessary.

The tutorial session on Thursday will short, and focus on final deliverables. See the post on the News pages on the specific list. Please bring sample printouts of your material so far, including an overall plan that can be used for reference. We will discuss the specific representations that you should produce. You should also make a simple dummy - a hand drawing with frist draft of complete layout as you see it right now.

Do not tick the "Inform about the change box" when signing in for tutorials - this will generate an email to everyone. Slots are allocated on a first come first served basis, and please do the operation pretty fast - others may be waiting to sign up. Times are approximate, and we will have a break somewhere in the middle.
