Welcome Erasteel and Aubert&Duval as a new industrial partner in PMH R&D Cluster
The Powertrain Manufacturing for Heavy Vehicles Application Lab – a Collaboration between KTH, Fraunhofer and RISE (PMH Application Lab) is pleased to announce that Erasteel and Aubert&Duval has recently joined our R&D cluster as new industrial partner.
Erasteel and Aubert&Duval are the two companies in Eramet Alloys.
Erasteel is a major player in the HSS market with high-end conventional and powder metallurgy high speed steels, ASP®. With its ASP® range, Erasteel is one leading producer of PM HSS for high performance tooling and components.
Aubert&Duval, a specialist in upscale metallurgy, is a world leader in designing, developing and industrializing high-performance steel, super alloy, aluminum and titanium parts. Their metallurgical and industrial expertise is based on a unique, fully integrated set of processes and facilities from steel and alloy-making, to pre-machined and machined parts.
Both companies have specific know-how and processes in powder metallurgy and produce a range of metal powders and metal powder based product for HIP bars, near net shape parts and additive manufacturing.

Erasteel and Aubert&Duval will as member of our R&D Cluster participate in this year’s collaborative R&D projects. The results of the collaborative R&D projects will be generated by the research partners in the R&D Cluster and will be shared with all current industrial partners .
