Doktorandprojekt: Mathematical and analytical aspects of post-quantum cryptography

This project is a co-operation with the Swedish Armed Forces. It is an open-ended project of foundational nature trying to understand how the possible construction of quantum computers may effect basic cryptography. We address all aspects of this question but focus on the following to aspects.

To develop new and fully understand existing algorithms that use the special powers of quantum computers. We are mostly interested in algorithms that attack cryptographic primitives, but algorithms for related problems are also of interest.

To follow, and contribute to, the development of cryptographic schemes that are secure even if quantum computers are constructed.
