Symposium on climate and health
The Health Committee of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with Bolin Centre for Climate Research, Chalmers University of Technology, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm Trio and Umeå University, organizes a symposium on the topic of climate and health. The open symposium will bring together experts from different fields relevant for understanding the interactions, challenges and co-benefits related to climate and health. The aim of the symposium is to summarize the state of the science, stimulate discussion, and relate to relevant ongoing and future policy processes. The symposium will be held in English. The event builds towards a follow-up workshop focusing on best practices, policies and solutions, to be organized in 2024.

Several lectures will be given, including one by KTH Climate Action Centre's director Francisco Fuso-Nerini, titled The benefits of integrated climate-health planning: lessons from the EU and Sub-Saharan Africa.
