The Environmental Humanities Laboratory (EHL) at KTH has since 2018 led "Occupy Climate Change!” (OCC!). It is a research project that has addressed and focused on practices and experiments of grassroots organizations and initiatives on a global scale. It investigates their diverse, dynamic, and self-organized responses to loss and damage caused by climate change. A major output of the OCC! project is the “Atlas of the Other Worlds”. It is an open-access living archive that gathers cases of various urban grassroots and municipal initiatives that are tackling climate change, as well as collects people’s creative stories of futures they imagine. The Atlas is open for anyone to contribute with initiatives from across the globe. The idea is to show that climate change is not only addressed on a global or individual level but to make visible the collective climate action that is already happening.

Join us to hear about the main research findings from the OCC! project, how to contribute to the growing OCC! “Atlas of the Other Worlds”, and how to join the global OCC! network.

Wrape and beverages will be served, please sign up here  to participate.
