About Climate Arena Stockholm:
Climate Arena Stockholm  works to accelerate the climate transition in the Stockholm region with a focus on the building and construction sector. At the Climate Arena, companies, public organizations, and academia collaborate with the goal of achieving a climate-neutral and resource-efficient building and construction sector in the Stockholm region by 2030. 75 organizations have signed a climate pledge and are involved in various working groups: construction and infrastructure, circular construction and planning, climate-efficient building materials, climate LCA-calculations, and market for circular building products. These working groups offer meeting series to identify, develop, and disseminate measures related to circular construction, climate-smart materials, and sustainable urban planning with a regional focus.

The platform is a joint initiative of Region Stockholm and the County Administrative Board of Stockholm County.

Need for practical research:
Climate Arena Stockholm aims to invite researchers in fields such as sustainable construction, circular economy in the construction industry, and climate-smart building materials to participate in the working groups on the platform. Many participants express the need for more practical research collaborations in the Stockholm region. By participating in the collaboration at Climate Arena Stockholm, researchers have the opportunity to disseminate information about ongoing research projects and results and contribute to the building and construction industry's efforts to transition to a sustainable and circular future.
