At KTH, research for climate neutral and resilient societies is conducted in many different disciplines and areas. With the aim of providing science and research for climate action, in the form of adaptation and mitigation, KTH Climate Action Centre focuses on a number of research and impact fields, divided into four main research areas.
Climate Adaptation and Resilience
The Adaptation and Resilience research theme addresses the growing threat of severe climate hazards and their compound and cascading impacts on societies, ecosystems, and infrastructure. It spans six interconnected areas, linking climate-risk science with decision support to translate vulnerability knowledge into actionable adaptation.
At the heart of KTH Climate Action Centre is the multi-disciplinary research team, which conducts and coordinates the centre's research projects.
