A Secure IoT Dashboard

Who owns the data that our smart devices create? And who is allowed to do what with it?The world is getting more and more connected with smart devices in every home, and data synced to external servers all over the world. But do the consumers know where the data end up, and what are the manufacturers allowed to do with the data?

In the military perspective the operations are becoming increasingly complex. As technological capabilities advance and more data needs to be processed for every decision. In the foreseeable future, military systems will be increasingly connected, and modern command centers will have battlefield analytics on dashboard-like views.

Our research is focused on secure data-driven systems where the confidentiality of the data is in focus. One needs the possibility to have connected systems and share data over the Internet, but this needs to be done in a controlled manner where one is confident that data is not leaked unintentionally.
