An exhibition by people for people

Strangers’ Minds was an exhibition hosted by Bright at KTH. It served as a physical expression of the stories that surround our everyday lives, showcasing the beauty of human diversity. Strangers shared feelings and thoughts – anything from love to loss, joy to sorrow, stress to calmness, and failure to success.

The exhibition invited both viewers and participants to discover unseen lives, break down barriers, and metaphorically "read each other’s minds." Its aim was to unveil hidden narratives and challenge preconceived notions and prejudices, fostering a greater sense of empathy and belonging. Everyone has stories – something to get off their chest, an anecdote, or a life experience to share.

Anonymous notes contributed to the exhibition

Bright at KTH invited contributions to the exhibition through anonymous notes. These could be a life lesson, a short poem, or a reflection. Notes were written and submitted in collection boxes at KTH Library, and on the Kista and Flemingsberg campuses.

The vernissage

The opening took place on 31 January at the entrance to the KTH Library. On this occasion, visitors were offered a unique insight into the world of hidden narrative, had the opportunity to meet the organisers, and enjoyed a glass of non-alcoholic bubbly.
