Important information for users of Legimus
Major changes are now taking place at Myndigheten för tillgängliga medier (MTM), the authority responsible for creating accessible literature. To access your course books as talking books, you need to be connected to the KTH Library.
Check and change your Legimus library to KTH Library
As of 1 September, Legimus will be split into two parts. After the split, only those who have a Legimus account connected to their university will have access to course books.
If you obtained your Legimus account at, for example, a public library or your high school library, you will therefore need to move your account to KTH Library.
Do this:
-
Go to "Mina uppgifter" in Legimus (the website, not the app). At the top you will see which library you belong to.
-
If it says KTH Library, you do not need to do anything.
-
If you see the name of another library, scroll down and select "Byt bibliotek" and choose KTH Library. We will then receive a request for a change and as soon as we have approved it, you will be able to access your course books also after the split.
It is important that you do this as soon as possible so that you do not suddenly lack access to the course books.
If your course book is missing in Legimus, check and see if we have it as an e-book or read it with Tortalk . If the book is missing the library will order it as an e-book according to the new guidelines by MTM.
