KTH Kista
KTH Kista is situated north of central Stockholm in one of the world’s most important ICT clusters. Kista has a solid history of development in wireless communication technologies and today it is home to over a thousand companies in the ICT sector.
Sweden’s largest business region
The urban centre of Kista is Sweden’s largest business region, and is home to more companies and employees in a limited area than anywhere else in the country. This gives students and researchers unique opportunities for collaboration ranging from major international organisations to small, privately owned ICT companies.
KTH in Kista
KTH has decided to relocate the educational programmes and teaching staff at the Kista campus to the KTH campus. The relocation is gradual and will begin in the spring semester of 2025 for parts of the operations. From 2027, KTH will conduct its remaining activities and collaboration with strategic partners such as Ericsson AB in new forms. KTH's semiconductor activities in the Electrum Laboratory will be an important part of this.
