Partnership for Innovation and Socio-Economic Impact: The Entrepreneurial University
KTH in cooperation with the European Commission is organizing a conference Partnership for Innovation and Socio-Economic Impact: The Entrepreneurial University’ to be held in Stockholm on March 19-20, 2014. The main focus of the Conference is partnership between universities, industries and public sector aimed at strengthening economic growth and societal development.

Over two days high-level representatives from the university and business world; from relevant Nordic and Baltic, European and international organizations, public sector bodies and authorities as well as other stakeholders will come together to discuss on how inter-sectorial and transnational partnerships can strengthen economic growth in Europe through the development of local innovation eco systems. The forum will be structured around the following four themes: Partnerships for growth in Europe Knowledge clusters: the development of successful innovation ecosystems Multi-disciplinarily and multi-layer innovation Inspiring pathways for moving forward In addition, a hands-on workshop (20 March) is offered on HEInnovate, a new online self-assessment tool launched by the European Commission in collaboration with the OECD for higher education institutions interested in developing their entrepreneurial potential and capacities.
