The Department of Urban Planning and Environment, which consists of three divisions and is subject-oriented to the areas: Urban and regional studies, Geoinformatics and Systems analysis and economics.
The field of knowledge incorporates scientific studies of systems, models and tools for the understanding, preserving, changing, management and development of society, the land and the built environment. An ambition is to analyse the conditions, terms and strategies for sustainable social development, both in a national and international context.
