Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (USM) is situated in the city of Valparaiso, about an hour's car ride from the capital Santiago de Chile. It has five different campus, the engineering branch is covered by the campuses in Santiago and Valparaíso, the technical one by those in Viña del Mar and Concepción. 18,000 students attend the courses at these campuses.
