Newly formed university

The Institute of Science Tokyo was established on 1 October, 2024, through a merger of Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Tokyo Institute of Technology, with which KTH previously had an agreement. The merger may mean that the range of courses in medical subjects is expanded, which can be positive for those who study subjects in, for example, biotechnology and life science.
