Japan: Tokyo Institute of Technology

Tokyo Institute of Technology is a national research university located in Tokyo. Six different schools (Science, Engineering, Materials & Chemical Technology, Computing, Life Science & Technology, Environment & Society) offer education to around 10,000 students, of which more than 1,200 are international. It is among the top 10 universities of Japan and the top 200 universities of the world.

Academic calendar: October-February, April-August
Credit system: 12-15 units on Undergraduate level (4 years long), 12 units on Graduate level (Master another 2 years) equivalent to 30 hp.
