ETH was founded in 1854 as the Eidgenössische Polytechnische Schule and began operations in Zurich in 1855. ETH is one of the world's most prestigious universities, and offers excellent research opportunities. The university is ranked among the best in the world. *International Master students: ETH is a very prominent university, they may request that you submit your grades from your bachelor as well before you are accepted. Priority is given to CTKEM and CBIOT students in the respective fields of Engineering Chemitry and Biotechnology.

The EECS-school has a minimum grade requirement of 4.0
2/3 of the credits have to be taken at the department you apply to/are nominated to. Please note in your application to KTH which department at ETH you plan to study at.
For EECS-students there are in total 6 places in ICT and electrical engineering and 3 places in computer science.
Suitable for the master's programmess: Mathematics, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Nuclear Energy Engineering (during the spring semester) and Engineering Physics.
