Initially founded in 1796, Strathclyde University is Glasgow's second-oldest university, located in the heart of the city. With almost 25 000 students, it is also Scotland's third largest university. The university is a close partner to KTH, and ranks among the top 10 in the United Kingdom in various subject areas, including civil engineering and architecture.
