South Korea: Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)
The university is located in Pohang on the east coast of South Korea, about two and a half hours by train southeast of Seoul. Founded in 1985, the university focuses on innovation and is strong in research and start-up activities. It has approximately 3,500 students.

Note: Undergraduate programmes are four years long, and graduate programmes are two years long. This exchange is not open for business studies or thesis work. A compulsory health insurance, NHI (National Health Insurance in Korea), of approximately 430 SEK/month is registered for incoming students automatically after arrival in South Korea. The insurance Student OUT from Kammarkollegiet (provided when studying abroad via KTH) is still valid.The university guarantees accommodation.
