Note: This exchange is only available for students of the 5-year Degree program in Electrical Engineering 300 credits (CELTE). Only full academic year exchange is possible. Due to scholarship regulments you need to be a Swedish citizen.

For exchange studies in the US, a J-1 visa is required (DS-2019 form): I-901 SEVIS Fee | ICE . J-1 students may enter the USA up to 30 days prior to the start date on the DS2019.

Cost for visa: approximately $220 (as of 2023).

Proof of financial resources
Acceptance letter from Exchange University

When applying for a US visa, you are required to provide financial evidence to show that you can afford your stay in the US. You can, for example, use a bank statement in this matter.
