Application and tuition fees for bachelor's programmes

For studies at KTH, application and tuition fees are required for some applicants. These depend largely on citizenship. KTH does not offer any scholarships for the Bachelor’s programme in Information and Communication Technology.

WHO IS REQUIRED TO PAY FEES?

EU/EEA/Swiss citizens

EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are not required to pay application and tuition fees. However, fees may apply for joint master's programmes that include universities with tuition fees for EU/EEA/Swiss citizens.

Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens

Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are generally required to pay application and tuition fees. There are however some exceptions to this general rule.

Tuition fees

The tuition fee for Bachelor's programmes in all subject areas except for architecture is SEK 122,000 per academic year (60 ECTS credits).

Application fee

Students applying for studies at KTH through University Admissions in Sweden are required to pay an application fee of SEK 900. This fee must be paid before the end of January, since the assessment of the application is dependent on payment of the fee.
