PhD course: The more-than-human philosophy

February 2026-June 2026

This course deals with the more than human from some posthumanist perspectives as well as selected parts of this tradition's continental philosophical roots. The course is divided into four blocks: 1) Living Matter, 2) Animism (in Western philosophy), 3) Organism, 4) Affectivity. Teachers are Jonna Bornemark and Krystof Kasprzak.

PhD course: Theories on sustainability transitions

The course deals with theories and perspectives on the goals for and obstacles to sustainability transition as well as strategies for transition in the field of planning. The course contains three thematic blocks with associated lectures, literature, assignments and seminars.

PhD course: Introduction to sustainability transition in theory and practice

An introductory course for PhD students within the research school TRANSPLACE. The course contains an introduction to sustainability transformation in transport planning and urban development, and an introduction to practice based research methods. The course consists of three thematic blocks with associated lectures, panel discussions, course literature and seminars.
