Transport Demo Day 2013
The centre KTH Transport Lab at Machine Design has an annual event, Transport Demo Day, which this year was held on 7 May.
KTH Transport Labs is a novel research network and laboratory where researchers, students and industry experts study future sustainable transport solutions through implementation-projects. It is an implementation arena within the KTH Transport Platform. The vision is to create an environment where research, education and industrial engineering meet and work together. We are a university-based ”open development & innovation arena” for realizing and demonstrating future transport solutions.
Transport Demo Day is, as mentioned earlier, an annual event where Transport Labs invites academics, industry and the public for a half day of hands-on demos and talks in the same spirit as mentioned above. This year's edition invited interested visitors, among other things, to see this year's Ecocar Elba and also carry out demos and test drives. Elba will later this month participate in this year's Shell Eco-marathon . The event is very popular and appreciated in many quarters so keep your eyes and ears open for the next opportunity to visit this event.
