Courses on the RAMP tool

Published Mar 26, 2018

KTH Royal Institute of Technology now offers a training package in a Professional Certificate Program on the RAMP tool. In three courses you learn how to apply the whole risk management process, from risk identification and risk assessment to concrete action plans and follow-ups

The three courses can be followed independently and you choose your own study pace, but in order to obtain a certificate you need to register for the entire program. The application will open on April 4 via www.edx.org. Information about the first course's application page will be posted on ramp.proj.kth.se. The first course starts in April, course II will start in September and course III will start in October. All are welcome to register and no specific prerequisites are required.

In course I, Assessment of Work-Related Injury Risks using RAMP I, you get an overview of the entire RAMP tool and you learn to identify and assess musculoskeletal (MSD) risks using the first module in the RAMP tool (RAMP I). The course starts April 4th.

In course II, Risk Management of Work-Related Injuries using RAMP II, you will learn to use all four modules in the RAMP tool. This includes, for example, how to present results from risk assessments for different stakeholders within an organisation and how you create action plans for improvement. The course starts in September.

In course III, Proficiency in using RAMP for Risk Management of Work-Related Injuries, you will become skilled in managing the whole risk management process and you will work with authentic cases from the business community. The course starts in October.
