About me
Kerstin Forsberg is professor in chemical engineering with expertise in separation processes, particularly crystallization. She teaches courses at the bachelor's, master's, and PhD levels at KTH (see portfolio). The knowledge is also applied in research projects (see portfolio), primarily concerning recovery of resources from waste streams (e.g. spent batteries, pickling acid, red mud) or investigation of phenomena connected to the transport of pollutants (e.g. heavy metals, radionuclides and microplastics).
My primary research interest is:
- Crystallization and precipitation techniques and approaches.
Commissions of trust
