Monica Lindgren

About me

Monica Lindgren is Professor of Industrial Economics and Management with specialization in Organisation and Management of Technology-Intensive Firms. Her research interests include leadership, entrepreneurship and project management, often studied from perspectives such as gender, identity construction and social constructionism. Her contributions to leadership theory concerning shared/distributed leadership is recognised internationally, as well as her role as co-organiser of the international research network Making Projects Critical. Monica is a member of several editorial boards and received in 2017 the global PMI Research Achievement Award for her contributions to project management research.

Monica holds a BSc in Teaching and a PhD in Business Administration from Umeå University. She has worked as associate professor in entrepreneurship and business creation at the Stockholm School of Economics and is professor at KTH since 2011. She has been head of the Unit of Organisation and Management and is since 2015 a member of the KTH central employment board.
