About me
Senior researcher with a PhD in electrical engineering, specializing in data-driven modeling and control, grid management, and power electronics. After being active in the automation industry and data science, I am currently a researcher within the Division of Building Technology and Design, Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering. In addition to my duty as a head of DiSa Lab – The Lab for a Digital Built Environment
Over the last 14 years, I have combined experience between academia and industry, during which I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses in electric drives, embedded systems, numerical methods, and general electrotechnics, alongside hands-on experience in industrial automation and data science.
My current research is centered on:
- Building automation.
- Building information modelling.
- Parametric programming for optimized building performance.
- Heating, ventilation and air-conditionning.
- Data-driven control theories and observers design for energy systems.
- Edge computing-driven monitoring and control solutions.
