About me

I am a Postdoc researcher at  KTH's Chemical Engineering Department. Before joining CBH, I defended my PhD(Link), on March 2022, in multiphase flows modeling, at CentraleSupélec, Paris Saclay Université. My main areas of research interests were the mathematical foundations, development, and the simulation of the fuel atomization, phase transition, and mixing processes of multi component systems. My current research is focused on the CFD modeling of carbon dioxide absorption as a common post-combustion carbon capture technique for mitigating the warming of the planet, to assess the influence of several parameters (as pressure, temperature, CO2 partial pressure, composition, ...) on the absorption rate. Characterizing the interaction between the CO2 phase transition, the liquid solvents, and the chemistry reactions is another focus of this research.
